Audio Latency is the biggest challenge affecting available wireless music technology. Latency refers to the delay between when a sound is produced and when it is heard. To face this challenge, we developed our two main core technologies. The LivePro, a zero-latency audio codec, and a multipoint to multipoint radio protocol with less than 2ms latency.
TYXIT LivePro is the audio codec at the base of all products of the T.ONE family and the LS-1 multicast transmission module. Developed to facilitate the transmission of high quality audio, LivePro makes calculation speed and flexibility its strengths.
It has been designed to be implemented in embedded solutions and in all fields where it is necessary to reduce the weight of the data to be transmitted without altering the acoustic and musical characteristics of the signal.
Live Pro is a codec created to unalterate the sonic characteristics of the signal. For this reason, it does not reduce the number of data on the basis of a psychoacoustic algorithm but is based on a prediction of the signal to be reconstructed. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the weight of the data and obtain a data flow up to four times lighter.
LivePro guarantees signal processing with a latency of less than five microseconds. This allows you to use tis audio codec in all those situations that require realtime audio processing. The measured latency is up to 100 times lower than other competing technologies.
TYXIT LiveSync is our wireless audio technology used in the T.ONE family and the LS-1 multicast transmission module. Developed to facilitate the transmission of high-quality audio, LiveSync enables robust, low-latency multi-stream wireless transmission.
We designed our radio with audio and robustness in mind. That’s why we developed a 2×2 MIMO radio which can mix time, space and frequency diversity to offer maximum robustness against interference such as a close Wi-Fi hotspot.
With less than 2 milliseconds of overall latency and a precise clock synchronisation on all modules in the system, LiveSync ensures that the reproduction of the audio is exactly the same at every location, in no time.
The technology can adapt specific range needs by adapting the transmitter power and antenna selection. A range of 100 meters can be easily achieved to address the needs of next generation equipment.
